## General Requirements for Hajj Cabin Crew
To ensure the highest standards of service and cultural sensitivity during these sacred flights, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Nationality: Must be an Indonesian citizen.
* Religion: Candidates must be Muslim, as the flight route includes direct transit and operations in Madinah.
* Physical Specifications:
* Men: 165cm – 178cm.
* Women: 158cm – 172cm.
* Weight must be proportional to height.
* Medical Commitment: Candidates must commit to remaining non-pregnant throughout the 2027 Hajj operational period.
* Documentation: Possession of a valid passport (minimum 3-word name) with validity through December 31, 2027.
* Flexibility: Willingness to serve on any assigned route and be stationed at any of the designated Hajj embarkation points.
* Certification: An EASA rating certificate is considered a distinct professional advantage.
## Specialized Professional Qualifications
This role requires experienced aviation professionals who can maintain the rigorous safety and service standards synonymous with the Garuda Indonesia brand.
* Experience: Previous experience as a regular cabin crew member for an Indonesian airline or prior service on the 2026 Hajj flights is required.
* Age Limit: Maximum of 55 years old as of December 31, 2027.
* Certification: Must hold a valid Flight Attendant Certificate (FAC) issued by the Indonesian DGCA (DKPPU).
* Type Rating: Proven experience with wide-body jet aircraft, specifically Boeing B777-300ER or Airbus A330 series (200/300/900NEO).
## Application Process and Required Documentation
Applicants must present comprehensive documentation to facilitate the selection process. Please ensure all items are organized and ready:
1. Core Documents: Formal application letter and an updated Curriculum Vitae (two copies).
2. Parental/Spousal Consent: Original notarized permit (stamped with Rp 10,000 duty stamp).
3. Clearance: Original and copies of the Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) stating the purpose as: “CABIN CREW FOR HAJJ FLIGHTS IN SAUDI ARABIA.”
4. Marital & Family Status: Certificates of birth, marriage/divorce, and proof of single status (where applicable), along with copies of ID cards (KTP) for the applicant, spouse, and parents/guardians.
5. Education: Copies of academic diplomas from elementary through to your highest level of education.
6. Administrative Photos: 10 pieces of 4x6 cm photos with a red background (please write your full name clearly on the back).
7. Organizing Folder: Use a Blue folder for 2026 Hajj alumni and a Yellow folder for new applicants.
## Medical Examination Guidelines
Health and safety are paramount. To prepare for the medical evaluation, please observe the following:
* Fasting: Fast from 22:00 the night before your scheduled examination (water is permitted).
* Rest: Ensure a minimum of 6 hours of sleep prior to the test.
* Diet: Limit consumption of high-fat, high-carbohydrate, and high-uric acid foods for one week prior to the examination.
* Vision: Bring your current glasses or contact lenses along with the official prescription from an ophthalmologist.
