## Position Overview: Laboratory Analyst
As a Laboratory Analyst at PT Kawasan Industri Medan, you will play a vital role in maintaining environmental standards, ensuring compliance, and supporting the industrial tenants operating within the estate. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong commitment to quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
* Sample Collection and Analysis: Collect wastewater samples from the PT KIM treatment facility. Analyze wastewater from both the internal treatment unit and industrial partners, followed by comprehensive result reporting.
* Clean Water Monitoring: Assess clean water supplied by third-party units and monitor intake points utilized by industrial tenants.
* Inventory and Calibration Management: Administer the intake and utilization of chemical materials while generating accurate calibration reports.
* Equipment Maintenance: Maintain laboratory instruments, perform internal calibrations, and document calibration outcomes meticulously.
* Regulatory Reporting: Compile compliance reports to be submitted to authorized government institutions.
* Administrative Duties: Prepare daily and monthly reports, alongside fulfilling designated tasks instructed by the Department Head and Division Head.
Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for this career opportunity, applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
* Academic Performance: Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.80 out of 4.00.
* Work Experience: Holding prior experience as a Laboratory Analyst for a minimum of 1 year is strongly preferred.
* Technical Proficiencies:
