## Key Responsibilities and Duties
Your day-to-day operations will involve critical engineering tasks designed to guarantee the safety and reliability of plant equipment. The core responsibilities include:
* System Testing and Analysis: Execute comprehensive performance analyses and rigorous testing procedures, including motor solo runs, fan and pump checkouts, and full load tests.
* Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Rapidly identify, analyze, and resolve complex mechanical issues concerning heavy-duty equipment such as industrial pumps, large-scale fans, and high-pressure valves.
* Field Inspections and Reporting: Conduct detailed site observation surveys, draft precise field reports, and continuously monitor ongoing site issues to prevent operational bottlenecks.
* Commissioning Management: Successfully manage, perform, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end commissioning lifecycle for various power plant systems.
* Precision Measurement: Utilize specialized diagnostic instruments, including vibration meters, infrared temperature guns, standard mechanical tools, and testing apparatuses to verify equipment integrity.
## Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for this demanding role, applicants must meet the following professional and educational standards:
* Educational Background: Hold at least a Diploma (D3/D4) or a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
* Industry Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience working within the power plant sector, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), or heavy industrial construction environments.
* Cultural Advantage: Previous professional experience working within a Korean multinational corporation or contractor will be considered a distinct advantage.
* Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal proficiency in the English language to facilitate seamless cross-cultural communication on site.
* Technical Literacy: Exhibit advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and other engineering tools pertinent to system schematics and technical drafting.
* Location and Contract Terms: Be fully prepared to be stationed permanently at our Suralaya Site Office in Cilegon, Banten, operating on a fixed-contract employment basis without a rotation schedule.
