## Current Job Openings at PT. Bara Alam Utama
1. Junior Geologist
We are looking for a proactive Junior Geologist to support our field exploration and data management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute comprehensive exploration phases, encompassing geological mapping, drilling operations, geophysical logging, coal sampling, and detailed reporting aligned with operational plans.
* Accurately describe core drill samples and generate detailed drill logs.
* Interpret geophysical logging data and build comprehensive drilling databases.
* Collaborate seamlessly with the exploration team while adhering strictly to company standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Qualifications:
* Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience in coal geology.
* Demonstrate deep mastery of coal geological mapping, drilling protocols, coal sample handling, drilling database management, geophysical log interpretation, and borehole correlation.
* Willingness to be stationed at our North Musi Rawas site in South Sumatra.
2. Exploration Geologist
We are seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to spearhead our advanced exploration projects, geological modeling, and resource estimation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and supervise end-to-end exploration stages, including geological mapping, core drilling, logging, geophysics, sampling, and technical reporting.
* Perform expert interpretation and correlation of coal seams.
* Develop robust coal geological models.
* Manage, maintain, and validate comprehensive geological databases.
* Coordinate effectively with exploration teams, cross-functional support departments, and external third-party stakeholders.
* Ensure all exploration activities comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and internal procedures.
Candidate Qualifications:
* Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience within the coal mining sector.
* Demonstrate advanced proficiency in coal geological mapping, drilling execution, exploration reporting, geological modeling, and coal resource estimation.
* Hold a valid Mining Supervisory certification at the Junior level (Pengawas Pertambangan Tingkat Pratama / POP) or Intermediate level (Pengawas Pertambangan Tingkat Madya / POM).
* Willingness to be stationed at our North Musi Rawas site in South Sumatra.
