# Career Opportunity: Secretariat and Substantive Support for the SQTDP at Bappenas
The Ministry of National Development Planning, also known as Bappenas, is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to contribute to the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP). In partnership with the World Bank, the Directorate of Tourism, Creative Economy, and Digital Economy is expanding its team to accelerate the development of high-impact policies and strategic initiatives within these vital sectors.
## Role Overview
Bappenas is looking for two dedicated professionals to fill the position of Secretariat and Substantive Support Staff for the SQTDP. This is a contractual, non-civil servant (non-ASN) position designed for individuals who are eager to make a significant contribution to Indonesia’s national development agenda.
* Number of Positions: 2 (two)
* Status: Contractual (Non-ASN)
* Contract Duration: 10 months
## Candidate Qualifications
To ensure the success of this program, candidates must meet specific academic and linguistic criteria. We welcome applications from high-achieving fresh graduates who possess the following qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Urban and Regional Planning (Planologi) or Economics.
* Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 3.00.
* Language Proficiency: A strong command of English is mandatory, evidenced by:
* TOEFL ITP: Minimum 500
* TOEFL iBT: Minimum 80
* TOEFL Prediction: Minimum 500
* Professional Standing: Must not be an active civil servant (ASN), military, or police personnel. Applicants must not hold an official government employee identification number (NIP).
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experiences will serve as a significant advantage during the selection process:
* Demonstrated involvement in relevant organizations, research, projects, or internships.
* Previous work or internship experience with Bappenas, the World Bank, or other international development agencies.
* Expertise or academic focus in tourism, development economics, spatial planning, sustainable development, public policy, or international development cooperation.
## Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will play a pivotal role in the operational success of the SQTDP. Primary duties include:
1. Administrative Excellence: Facilitating the smooth administration and coordination of the SQTDP’s daily operations.
2. Technical Documentation: Assisting in the preparation, processing, and documentation of technical and substantive program materials.
3. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring all project documents meet the necessary standards and supporting the review process required to obtain the No Objection Letter (NOL) from the World Bank.
4. Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as a bridge between the Directorate, the SQTDP team, the World Bank, various ministries, local government bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.
5. Task Follow-up: Ensuring that all feedback or requirements issued by the World Bank and external partners are addressed promptly and accurately.
